I've had the most horrendous cravings today. I managed to keep it under control but lost it with ice cream this evening. I've been doing strength training as well as cardio and it's made my muscles feel weak . so I'm generally feeling very fatigued.
I gained all the weight I lost last week through 4 days of just junk, but I'm down to 12.5 stones today so not bad.
I don't know why, but I wake up with a bloated stomach and I also find that I weigh more in the mornings than mid day, which is very odd.
Anyway, I'm trying not to be discouraged.

Start of week 3
So, I finished last week with high levels of exercise and high levels of food to replace it.
I only managed to do one fast day of the 5:2 diet. I find that I over eat the next day with a special craving for sugar which I normally don't crave.
Anyway, this week, I'm going to go back to cutting back on carbs rather than do the 5:2 diet.
I gained 0.5lbs so I'm 12.6lbs today but I feel my clothes are a little looser than before, certainly my jeans feel looser and since my thighs are where my weight gathers, I think I have lost some inches.

Back again and heavier than ever!
Well, I'm back again after falling off.
Since my last post, I've been on and off dieting, going to the gym, but mostly eating like there was an impending famine.
Last week I tipped the scales at 181 lbs. Urgh. Fat rolls and just looking like a round ball.
I had to get a grip so I started back at the gym and I went hard! Really hard! Controlled my eating and cut back on carbs. On Sunday I decided to try and the 5:2 diet fast since I was gonna be alone and my fiance wasn't going to be around.
The diet basically says on two non consecutive days out of the week you eat 500 calories for women and 600 for men and then for the five other days you eat normally.
I didn't quite manage 500 but did around 580 calories.
It was tough at first, hunger is something I rarely feel because I eat when I feel like it not when I feel hungry. I drank lots of water to ignore the hunger pangs. After a while, you stop thinking about food and I didn't feel hungry most of the day. I had a slight headache but it was manageable.
My diet for the day was:
8am
Coffee with milk no sugar = 30 calories
10.30am
Coffee with milk no sugar = 30 calories
1 boiled egg = 80 calories
12am
Atkins coconut indulge bar = 155 calories
3pm
1 boiled egg = 80 calories
Tea with milk = 15 calories
6pm
Atkins coconut indulge bar = 155 calories
2 liters of water
Total = 545
That week, I lost 4.5lbs. I was sooo happy! . Weight is 175.8
The next day Monday I felt fine, didn't feel weak at all. I tried to eat an egg and 1 slice of toast but my stomach had shrunk so I couldn't eat much. I went to the gym and had a good work out.
I eat an omelette and the other half of my earlier breakfast then we went out and I eat crap. I think the lesson is, definitely don't go out to eat after the fast day.
I'm going to do 2 days of fasting this week and see how I get on. I'm continue to go to the gym as well.
